Our Story

This isn’t just a nonprofit.

I saw it every day. I saw that Athletes are More Than.You’re expected to lead.
Expected to perform.
Expected to figure it all out.The relationship between an athletic trainer and an athlete is different.
It’s built on care, trust, and seeing the human behind the highlights.Some of my favorite moments as an athletic trainer were watching athletes overcome injury, doubt, and pressure. Watching them rise.After years inside locker rooms and on sidelines, I also saw what happens when the jersey gets folded — just like that.Suddenly, the world expects you to have the next chapter figured out.Who are you now?
What comes next?
Where’s the support?While getting my doctorate of Athletic Training in entrepreneurial leadership, I knew I wanted to help athletes lead lives that transcend the field.
And it hit me: to be an athlete is to be an entrepreneur.That’s where More Than Academy began.But I couldn’t build it alone.I needed a teammate — none other than Ramel Bradley.

but for everything after it.
